Choice Home Warranty is a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008 which offers services contracts. Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Each plan also offers optional coverage for septic systems, pools /spas, well pumps, sump pumps, central vacuuming systems, limited roof leaks, second refrigerators, and standalone freezers.

It is the middle of February and my heating system stopped working, so I called CHW. I told the lady on the phone we had an emergency (no heat). She said she would whatever necessary to help! The next day we had a Heating and A/C company come to the house and repair our unit. I think that is as good as it gets from a warranty company. Thank you CHW.

Garbage disposal repair/replace. 1 day to complete notification and replace. Super job!!!! Very happy!!!
Had this company and I advise you that they do not have good service or coverage. My AC went out do to a leak. The tech they sent out looked at my ac and sent the paper work to Choice home and they denied it. I had to find another tech to come out and give a second opinion. I also had to call choice homes myself and have the tech speak to the authorization department to see if we could get it approved. The total amount to repair the leak and put refrigerant was $1300. Choice home only approved $120.00 for the tech to fix the leak and left me paying the rest out of pocket. Home Choice warrany sent a contractor that performed a dishonest service to my stove. The contractor lied about his work and broke the hinge on my DCS Fisher Paykal oven. Home Choice is in tge process of removing TUCKER Appliance as a vendor for dishonesty. Home Chouce takes wirk seriously with all contractors. They a are first class Warranty company that cares for the client with care that all work is 100 percent repaired with a Smile. There are not many Warranty companies that give the policy holder security like Home Choice Warranty.
I am 50 years old and this is the first time I am complaining about a service purchased. I was assured by the Choice Home Warranty salesperson that they would be there for me when I needed repairs to my plumbing and electric as long as I paid the monthly fee. I purchased the plan two years ago and made every payment on time investing $840 for piece of mind with my plumbing and electric. I experienced my first plumbing problem after two years of making the timely payments and they required me to make a $45 payment to a repairman they sent. The repairman took my $45 check and left without fixing the problem. The repairman did not return to make the repair so they sent another repairman. The... Read More
I inherited this company due to the previous homeowners purchasing the policy and I have had nothing but TROUBLE and HORRIBLE SERVICE. I highly recommend that you DO NOT USE this company at all. They were not clear on how to submit a claim, thus leaving me paying for the full bill of approximately $800.00 for my furnace. I recently called due to some plumbing issues and they sent a plumber out (of which he charged me $60 and indicated that he would come back the next day. He did not come back the next day. Choice Warranty indicated that the $60 was for him to simply say "yes" you have an issue.

Great plan to have. I am getting my home repairs at a great price with the help of Choice Home Warranty.
We called the company and everything was taken care of timely. The service person was on time, knew what he was doing and let us know what would report to the company. The company contacted us letting us know what the results were, which were acceptable. Only question would be why it takes 30 days to receive our check? Some people might not be able to fix the problem until they receive the check. ( would be incoveinent)
Technician came out and diagnosed issue promptly. Problem is currently being resolved.
