Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement. The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract. After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I had nothing but awful experience with the company, there contractors are unqualified, customer care is simply terrible, and service is nothing but a run around.Dont recomend this company to any one!!!

This is by far the worst warranty out there. I have submitted three claims and at no point in time have they fixed anything. At one point I had an emergency fix they told me to call a local plumber and submit the bill to them. Did that and they did not pay the entire amount for the plumber after they said they would. My dishwasher has been broken since December last year. Just received a check for a third of the cost to purchase a new one. They refused to repair it because they said it would cost too much. There is no where you can buy a Maytag dishwasher for $175. This is the worst home warranty ever please don't purchase find another one. The second claim was my air conditioner. There... Read More

I WAS APPALLED WHEN SELECT HOME WARRANTY CHARGED A LABOR FEE ($150.00) ON TOP OF THE SERVICE FEE ($60.00) for INSTALLING (replacing the computer board) on my dishwasher. Paid 3 years advance. They never call back, never email back. Wait to get through on phone is horrendously long. When they tell you the supervisor Jamal will call back, he never does. I wish I had read all the bad reviews first. There are good warranty companies, this is not one. They don't pay, they don't reimburse. They should be shut down!

- I called them because one of our AC units was leaking into the bathroom below it. - The technician that they put me in contact with never called me and when I called them it always went directly to their voicemail (cell phone) - They allowed me to have another contractor come look at it who found that they coil was rusty and that there was a small freon leak. - They denied the claim based on the presence of rust and a freon leak. - The machine was serviced by a certified technician a year ago and was checked out as being in great shape. - They told me that I needed to have done more maintenance on the unit but didn't explain what that was other than having it inspected... I called the company July 23, 2016/Saturday I called Monday as a follow up/Status I was placed on hold for 30 minutes Each called was 20 to 30 minutes! I called the company and spoke to a rep, that took my information, promising me that they would call me. I called back and spoke to "John" who took the information again, while I was talking to "John" a voicemail was left to call them about more information about my warranty. I called back spoke to "Jay" he took the same information ending with someone would call me in a couple of hours. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS WARRANTY I purchased this warranty last Julye, its not worth the paper its written on. I have had nothing but grief when dealing with this company. I just submitted a claim for my built in microwave. They said after reviewing the problem ( on line they never came out ) that it would not be cost effective to come out and fix it. They are so GENEROUSLY going to give me $95.00 after I purchase and new one and send them a picture of it along with the receipts. Oh and it get s better, they will not pay to have it installed and on top of that they will deduct $45 from the $95 so after all is done I will get at total of $50.00 to replace my microwave. Guys beware, i don't trust this company i have submitted 3 claims and none of them have approved, the one which approved they said the part cost is less than the repair, u can install new one and send the receipt for the reimburse but they never responded to my emails,

Great protection for a reasonable cost. We have had no recent claims but have had this coverage on a previous home. Quick response times to service calls and excellent service. I wouldn't buy a used home without it.

They are really a fraud ... I made 4 different claims... all 4 were a completely disaster and disappointment. They never repair anything.. they only give a little and ridiculous. DONT BUY THIS HOME WARRANTY.
